For damaged discs, Max can either use its built-in comparison ripper (for drives that cache audio) or the error-correcting power of cdparanoia. When extracting audio from compact discs, Max offers the maximum in flexibility to ensure the true sound of your CD is faithfully extracted. I tried it out with macOS Catalina (however, it was one that I stored on my hard drive but the same one as uploaded here) and it seemed to run fine under the 'utility' part of macOS, didn't install Catalina but everything else looked fine.Ī windows 10 ISO is around 8 GB.
